Monday's storm is looking like mostly a cold rain with the temperature hovering just above freezing
HOWEVER.......
It will probably start before daybreak as a mix of rain, ice and possibly snow, so there can be slippery roads for the Monday morning commute.
The situation is quite marginal so some colder areas like the higher elevations may stay at just below freezing resulting in a buildup of ice throughout the day, especially on trees and power lines.
After the rain ends, the temperature will plummet rapidly Monday evening and night. So surfaces that do not quickly dry off can freeze up. Also car doors may freeze shut and be difficult to open Tuesday morning.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be extremely cold and windy.
